Transgender (Trans)

A person whose gender experience contradicts the gender identity bestowed unto them at birth.

Non-binary

A person whose gender identity does not experience gender in a way indescribable with the simple man/woman binary.

Genderfluid

A person who has a gender identity that fluxes.(The Schödinger's Cat of gender)

Transvestite

A person who expresses their gender in a way inconducively to societal norms.

These terms, while less common, do come up from time to time

Demiboy

A nonbinary person whose gender has manlike characteristics.

Demigirl

A nonbinary person whose gender has womanlike characteristics.

Bigender

A person who has 2 simultaneous genders.

Agender

A person who has no gender.

Two Spirit

A north-american indigenous equivalent to ‘Non-binary’.

Femboy

A boy whose gender expression is of a feminine character.

Tomboy

A girl whose gender expression is of a masculine character.

Dysphoria

A condition in which the gender as exhibited by the mind is contradicted by the physical ettaut social being.

Passing

A person who has undergone a transition is instinctively read as the gender they identify with.

Gender Identity

The gender a person identifies with.

Gender Expression

The way by which gender manifests in the mannerisms and style choices of a person.

Intersex

A person who’s physical characteristics at birth do not neatly conform to either of the two modes of physical characteristics.

Sex vs. Gender

A person’s sex refers to a person's physical being as it manifests in primary and secondary sexual characteristics. A person’s gender is an identifier to describe themselves and their mannerisms.

Pronouns

Particles of speech that stand in for an already specified noun.
